Description (Service) Sexual health clinic services include:
  • Birth control
  • Emergency contraception
  • Pregnancy testing and counseling
  • Referrals for therapeutic abortions
  • Anonymous HIV testing
  • Sexually Transmitted Infections (STI) testing
  • Free STI treatment
  • Blood borne Infections (BBI) testing (including Hep C, Hep B and HIV)
  • Free condoms and lube
  • Wart treatments and bump assessments (with the clinic physician only in Barrie and Orillia)
Anonymous HIV Testing services are provided at the Barrie clinic only by appointment.
  • HIV information and testing, including pre-test counselling on how people get HIV and what a positive or negative test result might mean and post-test counselling to discuss results
  • outreach services and education
  • referral to community services

Eligibility
  • Birth Control services generally limited to those under 20 years (may be some exceptions)
  • no restrictions for sexually transmitted disease service
Application Call 705-721-7520 or 1-877-721-7520 press #3 to speak with a Sexual Health Public Health Nurse for more information or to book an appointment for Barrie, Collingwood, Gravenhurst, Huntsville, Midland or Orillia
Languages English; French - Reception, Interpretation, Programs, service in additional languages can be arranged
